COMING SOON!! Waterkeg III SLI (Bandwidth Challenged Beware)

Thread Starter
I finally pulled the trigger on a wet set. Even though the G70 case has a ton of room inside I wanted to go with an external setup.
The game plan is to mount a Waterkeg III on the top of my case with a cpu>nb loop and set a second one to the side of the case with an 8800GTX SLI loop.
We'll consider the pic below the before.....
During and after pics to follow should anyone be interested.

What is that you have mounted above your cd drives? Are those "hot-swappable" hard drives?

Yes 2 Raid 0 setups. To change from Vista to XP, I shutdown, turn 2 drives on and 2 drives off. Never liked dual booting.
All SATA ports are enabled in BIOS, however, the drives can't be seen without power.

The only thing I don't like about them is the pump and res and everything is in the same case with the rad...It would be kind of like having the rad in the case which I don't care for either..I like to have the coolest room ambient air I can get going through the rad...Still thats just me they do look sharp and probably cool fine...

I thought of that too, and it appears that Seth took it into consideration when designing it. The rad is on an outside, ventilated wall with the fans pushing. The top is well ventilated for the draw and I also believe you can opt for a mesh window on the opposite wall. I would suggest that any adverse effect of the components being enclosed would be negligible, if one existed at all.
Please keep in mind that I'm not an exspurt at this stuff, merely learning.
