dell has been pretty good with replacements of parts but for some reason they are taking their sweet azz time with this one.

im going to file a complaint with the AG and BBB since i keep getting false promises from dell and its been half a month with no computer. this is messed up.

in dells defense
I work for a company that has dell laptops...

one of them was still in warranty and the service guy was just near by...in virginia...
so he comes over and replaces mobo in our building...voila...the laptop works...
so I still think its case to case basis...your a individual buyer...he was servicing us more promptly coz we have a corporate account...story short>>>they dont give a damn about the small people (no pun intended coz ur asian)

lol, u didnt have to go there but i know what u mean. i work for a university and whenever we need service they are there within 2 business days. i purchased this system on my own account because i found a deal that was cheaper then education discount.

they have been good with replacing the battery, cdrom, etc but its been half a month and im stuck in a worse situation then i started with. i have filed a complaint with the BBB and even emailed a manager. ****ing unheard of
