Half Life 2 AI Disable - Page 4

I too own the game, on disk and the orange box download. Yesterday was the first time I installed the game on 64bit Vista. I also got the A.I. Disabled bug and the Node graph out of Date: Rebuilding bug. Reading the forums, I tried the config edits and all that stuff, didn't do a thing. I then read to set it to 32bit mode. That seemed to do the trick. Or so I though. Although it's not saying A.I. Disabled, the girl doesn't go into the elevator at Black Masa East. I tried disabling and re-enabling the AI, and like mentioned before, the eyes and head still move, but the character will not go into the elevator...

To those who automatically assume the people having these errors are using pirated copies, remember that assumptions only prove to make asses out you. Nobody likes being accused of something when it's not true, especially when the other person has absolutely no evidence to back the accusation up.

Run the game in 32 bit, the x64 version of Half Life 2 is extremely buggy. To do this, right click on Half Life 2 in Steam, hit properties, launch options and type without quotes "-32bit" Should fix it.
