E6600 + P35 Results?

Thread Starter
Decided to go ahead and get an E6600 to do my Enzotech comparison/runs on AIR.

What kinda results did you P35 + E6600 users get?

Decided not to RMA the P35 DS3P and instead, pick up better NB cooling.

I will be doing the same type of build tomorrow with a P5K-Deluxe. Was short a PSU to do it this evening. My results on phase were great, but now that I have the Q6600/P5K3 Deluxe in the phase unit, I need to put the E6600 back on air.

When do you plan on actually doing the build? Maybe we can do some side by side results at different settings to see how the boards do. Might be able to find some pros and cons to each setup.

Well this is on phase with a cpu limited to 540fsb. Still playing with it but is very nice. Link. Sorry I dont have any air cooling reivews for it.

I managed to get far less vmch required for ocing this beast.

Check out these two links for some info for ocing and getting the highest fsb possible witht he least amount of voltage.

Good stuff, and more good stuff

Already hit the buy button on the Egg! So maybe tuesday? Wednesday? Or maybe I should run to Frys tomorrow and spend an extra 20-30.00 on everything? Don't wanna wait while the weekend is here!

Ooooh NICE. Can't wait to get my Air testing on. And that third link is right up my alley. I'm all about spending eight hours tweaking settings to figure out what the hell I'm doing!

I can already see myself reseating a good 12 times in one night. =P

I'm all for doing some comparisons, Knitelife! Better info for the community, BY community members.

I messed with mine for a little while, not nearly long enough. At stock it was starting at 66% for both the cpugtl, I think that at 70% for both I was able to lower my vmch to the last pic I had on my thread and vtt went way down also. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not.

Make sure you keep us informed on how your results turn out.

Your good stuff links are awsome. The P5K-Deluxe and P5K3-Deluxe have a setting called CPU Voltage Reference and NB Voltage Reference. I had no idea what they did so I did not play with them. I was having trouble finding any info on it.
