The gameplay is awesome as well. The physics system + nano abilities look to really make the gameplay feel fresh. Not to mention one hell of an awesome nearly invisible UI (I love out of the way UI's!)

Anything you have against the gameplay of Crysis in particular?

Well im not a fake gamer mate. I am a REAL gamer. Yes Gameplay does have the main affect on a game. However from what I have seen so far Crysis has easily got both Looks and gameplay.

I guess that I should explain my wording back there. no I am not insulting anyone....I am just saying that basing a game on LOOKS along will stand up to disappointment and distract from the gameplay.

Sure not ALL of you are doing this but every comment that I see about this game is about how it LOOKS and nothing about the gameplay.

Enterprise: I was not calling you a fake gamer mate. Guess I just worded my previous comment a little wrong. Sry about that.

But do you understand what I am trying to say now?

Hey man all is cool my end. I know you wernt branding me anything mate. I do get what your saying now how the looks could distract from the gameplay and I have to admit in my case it could be true as I may stand back and admire the looks for a little while.

In regards to the "looks" of a game.

I have found that some games are more enjoyable the 3rd to the 100th time around.

I find myself wandering about enjoying the scenery, and the hard work that the creators put into the rendering.

As an example: In FarCry, when moving about with the sniper rifle the scenery can be seen in the lens of the scope, and it is dynamic. That attention to detail is more than commendable.

Digikid, I would wager that the majority of the members are in agreement with you - gameplay is paramount, but great looking scenery and rendering is some damn sweet icing on the cake.

The thing that catches most people first are the looks. So even if the game turns out to be just a looker (and that's pretty big if) and if the gameplay is shoddy, people will hate the game more than they ever loved it.
