hey guys,

i am just wondering what people know about Asus DRW-1814BLT

i am thinking of buying one to replace the DVDRW i have in my computer at the moment, looking for some feedback.

Is a sata drive you goin to liked.I don't know the conversion in us$$$,but i paid for my sata drive like $25.00.Some 8 months ago.

I have that exact drive in my secondary system, had it for about 3 months now. It works great so far, haven't tested the lightscribe yet though.

The only thing is when it closes, it makes a loud "CLICK", first few times I thought the disc actually had not seated and was being jammed in the mechanism LOL But at least you know it closes!

Picked mine up for about $38 at Newegg.

i think its around $2 to the £1 at the moment, not sure though,

ordered 1gb more memory and new sata drive
