Help Please

I know its very dumb to say it:but i can't figure to connect my PSU(hiper 530w)i have some 8 pin connector (which i put in my motherboard) but that cable also had some 4 pin connector in its continuation and i don't know where i should connect it...?4 pin connector is displayed on image 0664(along with it7s 8 pin "brother"

Also look image 0666(this is a main 20+4 connector but look closely there is one hole in it?is it normal?

Pls i ask for quick response and big thnx in advance

for the 4pin+8pin, if your board has a 8pin hookup you hook the 8 pin up and leasve the 4 pin dangle, also vise cersa if its a 4 pin board

Connect the 8 pin male to the 8 pin female. Connect the 20 min male to the 20 pin female. If there are 4 empty spaces right next to (on the same block as) the 20 pin, connect 1 of the 4 pin plugs to it.
If there is no 8 pin socket, there will be a 4 pin.

OK thnx guys i will ry it now...also it says i should connect 6 pin connector to my vga card,..but i dont have 6 pin hole on my vga card(radeon x1600)

if the vid card doesnt have the connector dont worry about it

to tell you the truth i was HOPING i was wrong...iput 8 pin to 8 pin,left 6 pin aloneleft 4 pinalone...andi turn my psu on 1...a led on my motherboard shows some digits(0.0)and above IDE-1 hole on my mobo red LED os lighting....when i press power button fan on my cooler begin to spin for a less than a seconf thn stops...then again then stops...all this is followed by some other blue led which blinks when i turn power button on....

just to sy i fix it...there was one screw beneath my mobo maybe he was making short-circuit if its possible anyqay thnx now i m going to enjoy
