temps and everest stablity test

Thread Starter
On the stablity test in everest, the top graph is cpu temp, i should not go buy that one. On the task bar (going from left to right there are temps) first one is mobo, second is cpu, third is core. I should go with core reading?

** View temps in the actual everest interface. **

Which version of everest are you using? From my experience Everest's temperature reader is fairly accurate unless you are having problems with the sensor chips.

Usually Everest reads dual cores in the following order:

1. CPU "This is the diode temperature. In other words meaning it's the temp outside of the processors core(s)" ex: the internal heatspreader
2. Core #1
3. Core #2

You'll want to focus on Cores one and two.

Those temps at idle look fine to me.

Far more important, though, is what your temperatures at load are. Have you found those out yet?
