PSU: OCZ 700W GameXStream Power Supply
CPU COOLER/HEATSINK: Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

What tools do I need to install these components? ie. what type of screwdrivers, paste, additional wires and such will be needed..
1. Are you waiting for the Jul 22nd Price drop to pick up the Q6600 for $265?
2. Aslo what OS are you going to use, I wouldnt get 4 GB unless you are running a 64 bit OS like Vista 64.
3. Finally, I would re-think your video cards. They are not DX10.

1.) yea i am actually, i was planning on getting the e6600 core 2 duo, then i found out about the price drop

2.) im running vista ultimate 32 bit, but plan on upgrading to a 64 bit

3.) yea, i kno they dont support dx10, will upgrade when ati releases their dx10 cards, whenever that is, i was close on getting the ndivia 8600s as they support dx10, but after tons of research crossfire seems better than sli, so it was either crossfire or dx10, decided to go for a crossfire set-up for now

As of Jun 21st ATI has begun shipping HD 2400XT and HD 2600XT video cards. You will probably be able to pick up 2 HD 2600XT video cards when you get the Q6600.

Also, would the cooling be enough for an overclocked quad, the case will have three fans too
Wait until July 22nd, the Quad Core will be $266. Also, get one ATi HD 2900XT (with 1GB of GDDR4, if you can wait) or an 8800GTX. I would also consider getting 2x1GB of G. Skill DDR2-800 HZ Ram, which only costs $115 at newegg, however, can overclock higher than the OCZ. Oh, and about power supply, I would get a PC Power & Cooling 750 Silencer or SeaSonic M12 SS-700HM.

Edit /// I just read your post above, go with the X1950XT CF and then upgrade later; in like Q1 or Q2'08.
