Store-Bought Shrouds...

Thread Starter
Are they alright to buy?

I was looking at one of these: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/21...?tl=g30c95s163

I've seen alot of people making their own, which chances are with this crowd, they're infinitely better than you can buy, but are there better shrouds than others, is any shroud better than none?

any shroud is better than none, its not that big a deal whether you make it or buy it really....in terms of performance you are not looking at any significant difference.

I just use cheap/old/not working fans and cut out the fan blades etc so you're just left with the housing. It's probably cheaper than $10.99 + shipping and afaik works just as well...

Highly-Annoyed
