Why would a developer not release to console if it was easy? More venues = more money. A company being "fanboys" does not make sense and would just cost them millions of dollars if that was the only reason.

Lost Planet is NOT a DX10 game. It is a DX9 game on the console. It was ported to the PC with a few bits of DX10 included. However, it is not a ground up DX10 and never was. The Unreal 3 engine is a 9 year olds now... how can compare that to the new CryENGINE2?
