What Do you think of?

Thread Starter
Do you think something like a CoolIT Eliminator Thermoeletronic CPU Cooler can really cool better then a Tuniq Tower or Ultra 120. Forget about the price it's no object and I'm not interested in a full liquid system. Also has anyone used this system or even the Ultra / ChillTec
Thermal Electric CPU Cooler? Just trying to figure what's the best for a quad core. Thanks in advance for your help.

for what it's worth, Tom's Hardware used the ULTRA Chilltek in their $3300 system on day 3 of the system builders marathon, and their impression was generally positive.... http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/05/...hon/page3.html

beware of the mounting system, its not that strong. it should be capable of cooling most CPU's, but i'd personally put a 120 or 240 rad in the loop if you have a quad

That's actually not an outrageous price... I'd like to see it in action.

IT has a relatively low DeltaT, however, once you get past ~1.45 vcore it just can't keep up and temps rise in a linear fashion*. *Stated in multiple reviews*

Not to mention it draws almost 200 watts when working fully loaded... But for the money it's a decent cooler, especially if you don't plan on OC'ing too much.
