I have a question?

okay, i have been getting a blue screen at the most random times saying my comp is dumping mem. cause my drivers or some **** and it got so frequent i cant even start my comp. so i went and got a segate hardrive and didnt even get 2 min into the Operating system ( xp Home) and a diferent blue screen canme up and i trieed and tried again but does the same thing any suggestions

It could be a memory problem. I would suggest runnung memtest. Also check your memory timings.

Ya, it's definitly not your hard drive. Check your memory first.

You could try running 1 stick of memory for all your memory sticks and that might help pinpoint where your memory problem is.

Too much voltage running through your RAM, or running it too far out of its default timeings and speed can kill the DIMM's, though it could be just poor quality RAM that's at the end of it's life span. If you get any fails in memtest86+ with your RAM running at its defaul timeings, speed and voltage then I'd say that your RAM was definately faulty.
