ASUS P5N-E SLI mobo

SAPPHIRE RADEON X1950XT 256MB PCI-E

whats your thought or should i go for something else

Yes it is a worthy upgrade.

But only if you plan on upgrading your CPU in the future.

why would my p4 not be suitable im really only getting the mobo for its oc abilities as my intel one does nothing only x4

whatever you want, but Core 2 Duo's are cheap, and getting cheaper by the minute.
