Intel E6600 - $223
GPU - evga 8800gts 640 mb
P5N32 sli De. - $209
2Gb .Skillz ddr2 800 - $89.99
sony dvd rw - $31
coolmax 600w psu - $100
Case - Antec 900 - $129 or thermaltake armor - $149?
OS - vista or xp?
so what do u guys suggest on my build. this system should be ready to handle anygames on dx9 and 10. I know for dx10 I should be getting a 8800gtx but I think that the gts will do just fine.

Looks good to me, I think people will recommend a different motherboard.

I would say, wait 1 month and get a Q6600. And unless you are Nvidia fanboy, consider also a 2900XT. Third, I don't know about that MB, I suggest atlest P5N-E SLi, P5B Deluxe, or P5n32-E SLI 680i. Fourth, Get OCZ or Gskill RAM. 5th, I'm not sure that PSU can handle your system then. And last, go for Vista and thermalke armor.

ok thanks for the input.
I'm gonna look for the mobo and ram u suggested. I think the e6600 should do very well once its oced. and I should focus on getting the best mobo for ocing with a good ocing ram. the gpu should be a no problem for dx10 games with good settings and oc. how high should I get the psu? 700w be fine?
correct my thoughts
thx

So if you gonna OC a lot, then you atleast should get teh RAM and MB I suggested. Your GTS can handle DX10 games indeed, but in my opinion a 2900xt would be better for that money. And it depends what kind of PSU you need on your system.

8800 uses less power, and performance differences are application dependant.
driver support is better too.

i would get a p5k deluxe mobo, its the best or one of the best ones out there for OC and i think 700w would be find

ok system updated. I really don't know how good the thermaltake armor case. I have a antec 900 on my current rig and the air flow is flawless. also what brand psu should I get. I know I shouldn't ignore the main part that runs the comp.
