OCN has banned talking about your illegal uses of OEM keys. They are mad strict about it. Edit your post.

Retail you can install it and have vista just as you woudl with OEM, but then if your HD dies and you buy a new HD, and you don't have to buy vista again because the retail version allows you to reinstall it again, as long as it is one computer at a time. Or if you buy a new computer or whatever.

Also, you can get student discounts on Vista. Which is the only reason I got Vista Home Premium Retail, it was 70$.
if your hd dies you can reinstall a oem version as it is classed as the same comp but if you change the mobo then it is classed as a new comp

Sorry, my bad, but you get the idea, if you get a new mobo or a whole new computer, you can use retail again.

no as a reformat doesnt ammount to a new comp. the only reason to buy a new copy is a new comp or a new mobo
