comps in ireland???????

Thread Starter
well i'm goin 2 b goin on a visit to my cousins in ireland this summer and they want to buy a computer well i was wondering if there were any irish comp sites or stores that i could order and buy from.
I am not 100% sure , but i think you would be better off buying in canada, normally prices in the UK are more than in North America.

You could buy their parts from Canada as it will be cheaper there...

But,
i think www.ebuyer.com, www.scan.co.uk should work for ya.

edit : as mentioned in the post below, most uk sites deliver to Ireland.

Yup, 17.5% tax

As far as i am aware most UK stores will ship to Ireland. But i doubt you will avoid the tax.

Monitor

You can do much better with the monitor

Edit : Faster Ram OCZ 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 1000MHz/PC2-8000 Titanium Alpha VX2 CL4 2.3V

Edit : Bigger Harddrive Western Digital WD3200AAJS 320GB Hard Drive

Maybe you could persuade your cousin to spend 60 quid more and get the 8800gts 320mb they are towards the end of the page.

What i mean is that you can get her a better monitor for the same or even less price .

like you have the 19" monitor for a 182 pounds ,
like the following :
ViewSonic 20" Widescreen
or
Samsung 20" Widescreen

Have a look at the list that comes up when you click the link for monitors in my previous post

Edit : Upgrade the harddrive as well while you are it, really not a big difference in price, but a 70gig storage difference.
