Any Thoughts on this Build.

My friend and me are building two new computer this summer, so here it goes.
Were getting this case. Putting a side and top window on it. The motherboard is going to be a ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition, with a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Windsor 2.8GHz. The graphics will be a BFG Tech GeForce 7950GT 512MB. The ram will be Patriot eXtreme Performance 2GB DDR2 800. The optical drive will be LITE-ON Sata, DVD/CD burner with Lightscribe. I had a question on the hard drives, i wanted to get a 2 Raptor 74GB 10,000 rpm drives and 2 barracuda 500GB drives, i wanted to do raid. Should i go with RAID 10 or RAID 0+1? Any thoughts on this?

How'd you decide on that case? Why didn't you just get the cheapest full tower you can find and mod the hell out of it?

I'd use an Athlon 3600 Brisbane as it will overclock to 3Ghz, the same as that 5600 but for alot less, use the money you saved for an 8800GTS or 2900XT, go with a Centurion 5 case instead of that one you picked.

The Brisbane doesnt have 1mb of L2 cache and the Centurion 5 doesnt come in all white.

I don't think you can run Raptors+Barricudas in the same array (Different sizes and all), might be wrong about this though. Unless you keep extremely important information on your computer that you can't afford to lose, raid 10 or 01 won't be necessary. Simply 2 Raptors in raid 0 will do fine and will save you some $$ that you could put toward your video card...

So raid 0 my raptors and just have a 500G for my other crap.
raid 0 needs identical drives, so you could have two seperate raids going but thats about it.
Only thing I would consider or take a good look at is the power supply, make sure you get a reputable brand with some sold rails.

The cache on an AMD doesn't make a big difference if at all. For less than that 7950GT you could get a much better card: Sapphire X1950XT. It will play most games in max settings. Although the Sapphire X1950XT offers more bang for the buck, if you can shell out 100$ for the 8800GTS 320MB then do so.
