I am building a new computer and my dad is unsure if i have all the parts (he does not like computers so he doesnt really know how to check it himself). I don't see any other reason it might not work. And good call on the DVI cable, I bought the same monitor and had to drive all over town to find one.

That looks like a great setup you have there. You'll be doing some serious gaming in no time. I would have suggested a 8800GTS or 8600GTS, but if your Video cards is free, that's cool... I'd just stick with that then for the meantime. You could always sell it on ebay though and upgrade.
