Westinghouse 22"

Value = 10/10
$200 brand new from store.
Features = 10/10
It has Picture in Picture (PiP), five (5) video inputs, three (3) sound and two 3.5w decent sounding speakers. Has an awesome menu, the PiP can be changed between different sizes, locations and inputs. Can change the screen ratio between 16:10 and 4:3 directly on the LCD.
Quality = 9/10
Has a couple of backlight bleed issues, but doesn't bother me.
Performance = 9/10
Backlight problems, 5ms refresh time, extremly bright.
Tilt = 9.5
I love it. I kinda wish it was a bit bigger, but the screen rocks and I'd pay $200 again for it.

So 47.5 of 50. I don't usually give high ratings on anything, but this screen is awesome.

Acer AL2416WBsd Silver 24" 5ms LCD Monitor 1000:1

This monitor rocks, its super bright which I love and is HUGE
Value: 8/10
its $550
Features: 7/10
Not much, just shows picture and has built in speakers. Very nice rotation and tilting.
Quality: 10/10
I've had it bug once where it would show NO CONNECTION in the middle of the screen while actually showing the picture. I just had to restart the monitor from the hard switch to fix it though.
Performance: 10/10
Tilt: 9/10

VERY GOOD if you can afford it, one of the best 24"ers and easily rivals the samsungs

so 44/50

Its still an A in my book

Don't know if you mean home entertain or PC ... but here goes ...

Samsung 226BW:

...

Value: /9
Fantastic product for the money; it convinced me to ditch my 21" Sony Trinitron.

Features: /9
Gave it a 9 as I can't imagine how many "features" a computer LCD might need to have; the fact that Samsungs Magictune Software works so well with it in regards to color calibration, makes it worth a "9" alone.

Quality: /9
First computer LCD I've ever had, but overall I'm totally pleased with the machining, finishing and overall production.

Performance: /9
Works like a dream. From day to day design work to high end gaming ... it's really not lacking in any regard other than being fixed at 60HZ on the vertical refresh with it's native resolution of 1680x1050. Since I like to use VSYNC enabled in games, I'd prefer to have a bit higher vertical refresh as this absolutely impacts frames per second.

Tilt: /(stock mount)=7 (3rd party mount)=10
Regarding the stock mounting on the 226BW, I can't say I liked the stock mounting at all: no vertical adjustment ... not tilt or swivel.

That said ... I did chose to invest in an after market LCD mounting option (Ergotron Neo-flex) and with that additional purchase ... I'm totally stoked on the monitor.

s1rrah, you can turn off Vsync. It's only necesary on CRTs with an actual locked refresh rate. Your monitor can refresh faster than 60hz.
