Please download both TAT and CoreTemp and tell us your idle and load temps

To get your load temps, please download Orthos and run it while having the temps monitor on for 5 minutes.

Orthos is also used on CPU stability test. It is recommended to run for 8 hours or more for a perfect overclock. If it fails, you'll get a red message.

26C ~ 43C, are they from TAT and CoreTemp or from SpeedFan? I personally do not trust SpeedFan on anything.

Well, your current load temps are excellent. The default vcore is 1.35vcore and I believe you can safely notch that up to 1.40 ~ 1.44vcore, but do that slowly and keep watching your load temps. From the looking on the C2D overclocks, you'll need around 1.44vcore to reach 3.15Ghz

http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...c-voltage.html

CPU should not exceed 60C load. I limit my self to 55C load.

Again, if you told me your temps on SpeedFan, please go and get TAT and CoreTemp.

I forgot to say, on CoreTemp, right above your core temps, it says Tjunction. Can you tell me what it says for that? If it says 85C, then your temps are correct.

TAT and CoreTemp should only be around 1~2C off from each other.

37C idle and 55C load, with only a few minutes of Orthos running. I'd say no more overclocking for you. Your load temps will go higher if you were to run Orthos for a while.

Arg... I'm afraid I lack knowledge here. Where are the other OCNers! ._. I need help.

Well, what I've been hearing is that, when CoreTemp says 100C on Tjunction, you have to like subtract 15C from all of your temps, but I don't know. Just stick with your overclock for now until someone else comes by.

1.45 is pretty high for 3.15 but then again each chip is different. mine does 3.2 on 1.4 . well some advice is to bump up your vcore slowly until it becomes stable. just dont go over 1.5
