Ouch, so the floppy trick had nothing to do with it then!
Let me guess, you literally booted your PC

My HT link was already lowered.

Also my floppy drive was already enabled so that didn't help either.

Enabled over-voltage on the NB, didn't help.

Will experiment some more tonight, but have no clue what to do!
I'll probably just end up swapping this board with a A8N5X I have lying around on which I got 265x10 12 hr+ Prime stable.

Before you swap mobos try running @ 265X10 with ram @ 133 2.5-3-3-8 1T @ 2.6V

Thanks for the idea!

Tried it and it's working, but running it at 2.70v, will reduce it to 2.65/2.6v later.

Suprisingly the above gave better results than 305x8.5 @ 133 (=199mhz on RAM) at 3-3-3-8 2T. I'm happy about it.

I doubt that 265x10 @133 2.5-3-3-8 1T would outperform 265x10 @166 3-3-3-8 2T(=220mhz) in Supreme Commander at least.

Or would it?

They should be very close to each other so you wont even notice the difference , which one is faster ,, i don't know
