In the future, you'd fair better going into detail instead of throwing out a rather thoughtless comment; it's now obvious you have a reason why you might dislike Asus boards.

The Reviews and results from this forum and other sites are pretty much showing that the P5K and Deluxe are solid motherboards. Afterall, that 3.9ghz E6750 WAS on the P5k...

I saw that a couple minutes ago. My previous assumptions we're based on the various experiences that I've had with older Asus boards (which for the most part weren't pretty, even though I had a P4P800-E Deluxe that took my Beloved P4 Prescott to 3.72 GHz on just cold air). It seems the latest boards have cleaned up their attitude quite a bit (as seen with that P5K), but I'm anxious to see the numbers that will be brought with the X38 in testing .

I'm kinda scared of X38 boards. I got a feeling they'll cost as much as a Quad themselves and might not be compatible with my setup! I'm sure they'll all be good, though.

I'll probably invest in X38 for personal testing, but won't keep it and will end up sticking with P35 for a while.

Too much new tech!

The E6X50's are supposed to be G0 revision stepping which according to all reports provides for some impressive oc's at near stock voltage.

This all well and good, but the 45's are supposed to surface relatively soon, so for now, the wait's on.

A close friend who is a regional Intel rep showed me some numbers for yorkfield that are insane...

NDA comes off soon, there should be alot of hoopla...

You must be the uberOCgod, with 'physic' abilities like that bub. I bet you can do wonders with a computer....

My Asus mobo, sucks sooo much, it cant even get my crappy e6700 past 4ghz...talk about cheap! What a kick in the nuts it was to figure out too! Thanks for setting me straight.
