Bios settings for DS3

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I just bought a new computer and have it all setup. I went with the Gigabyte 965P DS3 v.3.3 for the motherboard. I'm at the stage where I want to start tweaking and customizing and I need a little bit of help setting up the bios. In particular I'm looking to disable all the chipset features that are more or less useless to minimize the load on the northbridge.

So if anyone can point me in the direction of a good guide for bios settings or can just tell me what should be disabled that would really help me out.

Cheers,
Ravage

Pretty much disable anything that you're not using, including virtualisation. With the DS3, Ctrl+F1 in the main BIOS screen will give you additional options within the submenus.

Muncher23 has posted lots of information in the Intel CPUs forum regarding the E4300 and DS3 board, you will find that helpful.

Cheers
