and yes, the e4300 and 8600gt will deliver more than enough punch to run those games just fine at med settings.

for the lan, just use cheap (or onboard) gigabit lan with cat5 cables, for the internet, you need a good connection. In fact, you would probably need something like T1 at the least.
starcraft 2 is coming out next year isn't it?

just stay with the rig you had planned out. I said its perfect for a cafe. 4300 is powerful even at stock and can easily play games with the 8600gt...2gb of ram and without overclocking doesnt need too much of a PSU. needs to be at least 500W if generic though.

A good point, a E4300 at stock won't do much better, if at all better than a AMD x2. I say if your going to get a C2D you have to overclock some, i mean it's just so easy. You can get a modest boost from a modest overclock while keeping it on stock voltage.

get something you can manage if ur not too familiar with networking stuff get one u can easily manage and that gives out enough bandwidth for the whole cafe. cisco < - some serious $$ for that stuff, linksys, zyxel those are some good ones i've used them all not much cisco but i had linksys and zyxel running at a 24 hour business zyxel was a little bit advanced so you need some networking knowledge for their gateways and such

I don't think StarCraft 2 is gonna be a very hardware intensive game. C&C3 seems to have continued an old tradition of RTS games not needing supercomputers. I don't think SC2 will try to break this.
