IP35 vdimm measure point ?

OK for you voltage guys out there. Since I have had uguru acting weird when displaying my vdimm when under load, it reads 2.26 idle and jumps between 2.24 and 2.28 while the ram is under full load like orthos blend test.

So I poked around and found this measure piont that reads 2.30v when the ram is idle. When I run orthos it goes up to 2.32 and kind of cycles between 2.319 and 2.34.

Does this sound like the correct measure point to you guys.

sounds right...

Do you have any clear pics of the abit IP35 mobo to examine closer?

Not really, what parts do you need to see and I can see what I can get. My camera isnt very good at extreme closeups.

the top part of the mobo from the cpu area to the far right edge of where the RAM is located.

Well couldnt get any better pics. I took the readins check out the text thing I wrote up. Idle and laod and what was set and read for each setting. Also I used +0 in bios for the ddr ref voltage setting. It didnt seem to make much of a difference anyways.

Those look good..that mobo has some great voltage regulation...the droop actually trims down when voltage goes up..least that what the numbers show.

Well as you apply load the voltage increases. I mean it stays steady under no load but when loaded the voltage goes up pretty good. It never droops below what it starts out at. Which is good in one aspect but say you didnt know this and you set 2.4v under load you would probably be getting like 2.45 or so .

Yeah I hope that was understandable how I put the numbers in there.
