What I was saying is, when I run Everast, another program that shows temperatures, it has 3 readings. CPU temperature, Core 1 and Core 2. Core1/2 readings are almost identical to Core Temps temperatures, while the CPU temperature is reading 10C higher -- at roughly 70C. This extra reading is confusing me and is why I ask... should I be concerned about this extra reading everast is giving me, or should I purely be concerned with CoreTemp's readings.
I have no idle about the CPU one. Mine is saying 17C, and that's 100% not right.
Just compare CoreTemp and TAT and use those.

EDIT:
My TAT and CoreTemp have similar saying to the Core #1 and Core #2 on EVEREST.

Thank Tai, I am going to take everyone's advice and lower my vcore and cpu speed to get it running cooler. After I get a new HSF, I'll see what I can do with this.

We would gladly help you on picking a new HSF if you do not know which one to get. Just give use a budget.

I don't really have a budget. However, I would like to get the best bang for the buck. Also, I don't want something that sounds like a jet

Also, it would be nice if there was a HSF that had quite a bit of expandability. I don't know if that is possible, but I figured I'd throw that out there. (In other words, one that I could use a few years down the line with future processors).

If you're not on a budget, look into the following:

Thermalright 120 Ultra Extreme > Tuniq > Big Typhoon > Scythe Ninja>Zalman 9700

You can order those at the Egg.

Here are some benchmarks.

I don't know what you meant by expandability. ><

Thank again TaiDinh! I will look into getting one of those soon. I also wanted to give you all an update. I lowered my Vcore to 1.375 and it is running very stable at 3.15ghz. After almost 40 minutes of Orthos, the highest I hit is 56C! (thx Nitteo)

3.75vcore? That's a scary typo.
Well, 56C load ... AWESOME!

My thermaltake gold orb and my friends blue orb, both on e6600's idle around 30 C, under load it wont go over 36C. Great cooler for around 40 bucks.

Mines at 3.4ghz and his is around 3.7, not sure on his voltage though.
Meh.
