what is your ambient temp though? is it really 65degrees in your house? if not then your not getting correct temps.

You can't get an accurate core temp reading on brisbanes. You need everest or something that gives the a cpu temp.

I get the same core temps and my room temp is anywhere between 70 degrees onwards to 90, it reads 20c idle, but on speedfan I get 38c/36c, which is for each individual core I supposed, and that seems more right to me, I tried everest, got the same thing

T1maniac, have you tried the biostar hardware monitor? It has been accurate for me. Your everst SS is missing the mobo and CPU temps

I installed Speedfan 4.28, but still see the same temps. Here's my pics bellow:
