go for the standard 640 one if you can, because the card can then be oced. the 640 mb of ram makes a difference as the resolution increases. for example, at 1280x1024 you wouldnt notice the difference between the 320 and the 640. However at 1600x1200 the 320mb would start to run out of steam, where as the 640 would still play comfortably...if you must get the 22" monitor go for the 640mb card if you can afford it. if you cant go for a 19" monitor because otherwise you might have to start sacrificing detail settings on newer games....sorry for the book.lol

I do not plan on OC'ing though.... I am all talk... I would say I would overclock until I hear about the risk I am taking on a $400 card when I am being paid on minimum wage.

Go with the 640mb, not the 320mb. Most games coming out will eat that 320 up in a heartbeat.

Those are terrible prices. Go to Newegg if you can help it and save at least $100. I just purchased a 320mb 8800gts xfx for something like $260. I'm not really expecting to be a huge pc gamer, so I just purchased a card I thought would be adequate for my needs.

EDIT: Sorry, I kinda figured you might be Canadian as I was writing my reply.

Yup....

So the $20 to the superclocked is not worth it?

nah the gains will be minimal only a real benefit if you are sitting in a game at 24fps...then the overclock to increase the fps will be noticable

I play some Flight Simulator X on my free time sometimes which would probably go into that 24FPS section or even worse LOL.
