64b has advantages that 32b doesn't have, but from what i understand, 32b doesn't have many advantages over 64b. If companies will be comming out with more and more 64b applications, wouldn't it be more beneficial to buy 64b right now and not have to get another OS later?

i dont use any 64 bit apps right now and they probably wont be mainstream for a couple more years so i should be okay with that. and im only gonna have 2gb of ram unless it really seems like i need more, but from what ive heard 2gb of ram in vista is like 1 in xp and 1gb has done very well for me in xp
