500w enough for opty + 7800gs?

Thread Starter
Will my antec earthwatt 500watt be enough for a 7800gs and an opty running at a nice oc around 2.8?
Opty will be 170 or 175, because of the higher multi wich I really need.

Yep. Look what I'm running on my 450W. As long as the amperage is sufficient, and the PSU is from a reputable brand you have nothing to worry about.

need to see how much amps the rails are running. some of them run lower amps than others and aren't as good.

Yeah need to check out the amps, but I'm sure Antec would make one that would run it fine.

I ran an E6700, 7800GS/1950Pro, 3 Raptors, 1 Optical, 5 fans all on an Antec Neo 500, zero issues.
