Going to crossfire

Thread Starter
My new mobo has the Xpress 3200 chipset so I'm deciding that I was going to find another card and set it up to do crossfire. I found another Radeon X800 XL that is a crossfire edition for only $80. (http://shop.ati.com/product.asp?sku=...#MyGearSection) I am thinking that it's gonna be a good idea if If I get the same card as my first one since I know for a fact that theyll be compatible and that this card is only $80 and I've had my first x800 XL for a year and a half and it has run perfect. Does anyone have any suggestions as to whether this is logical or if there is something I can do that will be better?

Thanks,
R3TR3C

I say save and get a 1950 or sumthin, spending even that 80 bucks on that card really isnt worth it. the x800 were beasts but there day is gone, try and save another 40 bucks and get a better card then crossfire those ^^

Indeed, I love my x800 but its far behind the times.

The world is moveing on to DX10 and you would still be stuck with SM2!

The current DX10 cards won't even be able to play DX10 games on max so for all intents and purposes I'd stick with a good DX9 card..

It may be a long time off but i would say wait for R700 it should be able to play DX10 games. (And by play i mean at a real frame rate not 5FPS.)
