IIS in Windows 2000 Pro..

Thread Starter
I just found a old computer and wanted to use it to host some web sites. From what I understand W2k Pro can't host more than 1 website with 10 connections...
I want to know if there's anyway around that or if theres a way I can "fudge it" some how so it'll host more...

Thanks
My System

install a linux distro... maybe a hardened one... and setup an apache server...

running a windows 2000 IIS server now-a-days is like buying a Viper convertible... parking it in a bad neighborhood... with the top down... and the keys in it... with a free and clear title that you've signed on the dash... with a giant billboard that reads "TAKE MY CAR, PLEASE"

You can... but it's not nearly as secure. Unless he doesn't care, I would go with linux. Plus I think it's easier to set up in Linux.
