Here's a good price and free shipping on the HD.

I like your setup so far, but, i'm not an audiophile and there are many here so i won't speak to the audio question.

(I suggest this one, though it is lower, or you can choose back the one you chose.)

Motherboard:

($10 and it is better for future use if you ever think about going for C2Q or any Quad-Cores)

CPU/Processor:

(There are people who argue that the 6xx0 series do not overclock as well as just the 6x00 series, but because the 6xx0 series has 4 cache, it is so called worth it. It is your choice, so I did not change this. I have not dwell too much on these processors so I do not know.)

If I were I would get the E6600 then, since you are not overclocking, and for longer terms it would be better. But you are just using for daily use with a dual-core, it is more than enough already.

not the best souncard on the market im sure some people will agree, but go for the Creative Xfi Pro because for the money you pay, the connectivity is unmatched. Both Optical In and out, Sp Dif In and Out, Three Line ins, Two line outs...Din socket? dont know what this one does, and you get your midi ins and out aswell. You also get the crystalizer stuff and 3d midi etc. Ive had the card for a year and half now and its served me well
