I think you should save the money and go toward water cooling your GPU and CPU... You'll get way more benefit out of the higher GPU clocks than you EVER would with the ram... though asides the cooling, your ram is your weak spot.

I have some Plat rev2's. I haven't really pushed them as far as I can. I know i had them stable at 950mhz with 4-4-4-12 timings at like 2.2v or whatever the closest setting to that is. With cas 5 I could probably break 1000mhz

According to the benchmarks Tomshardware did, the difference between ram clocked at 800mhz and ram clocked at 1200 mhz was only 1-2 fps in most games.

Edit- Oh and timings/latency showed even less difference.
