Learning skills, while they seem boring and such at first, are a GIANT help. I spent 3-4 days training some Learning skills, it brought a 17day skill down to only 10days. The past week or so, I've been training other skills so I could progress past Level I missions a little, but now I'm going back to do more learning skills. They are a LIFE saver. My goal is to get that 10 days (already a week off) down to atleast 7 days. I'm sure I can, too.

And yeah, mining is terribly boring.
Yeah I did the same thing - it still took over a week though and nothing I did sped up the process

Only other issue was how open-ended it was, I had absolutely on idea *** I was going to do so I just kinda gave up lol

Yeah, I tried the game over a year ago and had that same problem. I tried it again a few weeks ago, and sometimes I get overwhelmed by the open-endedness still, but not near as bad. i mostly run missions, so I can get in the fun ships to do some pvp action. That, and I want to be rich. lol

And after all your enemies have been slain, what then?

After you obtain all the riches that can be obtained, what then?!

It is said Alexander the Great cried and weeped after he conquered every territory

WHAT NOW HUH?!

Find more enemies. Hell, if I want lots of enemies, I'll go pick a fight with BoB. I'd never slay em all.

Maybe we'll meet sometime. I plan on dabbling in piracy when I get some more skills under my belt. Right now I'm just running missions. Good money if you do em quick.

If you like the more agile ships, I would definately stay cruiser or below - you would be surprised how agile some of the cruisers can be, and still do some good dps. The battlecruisers/command ships though, are pretty fat and un-agile.

Some HACs are pretty good for being fast and agile plus high dps. The Vagabond (Minmatar HAC) is one of the fastest ships in the game (not including all the crazy speed tanked setups) Neither of the Caldari HACs are that particularly agile/fast.

Personally I love my zealot (Amarr HAC) Its fairly fast and agile for a cruiser, can do ~750m/s with an afterburner. With a MWD it can approach 2km/s, but it gets pretty difficult to track/orbit at that speed. I have some pretty sweet faction mods on it that push the dps up to about 550, and its tank is nice too with about 80% resists.

In missioning scenario's no battleships can hit it when it orbits close because it orbits so fast + small signature radius. Its kinda hilarious/ridiculous doing some missions where I'm orbiting groups of like 5 battleships and none of them can hit me

Indeed, but the Cerberus probably tanks the best out of all the HACs (apart from maybe the Sacrilege, but that has the draw back of doing **** all damage), and the Eagle can hit at 250km with the right skills / fitting. (250km is the maximum range the game will allow you to lock at, no matter how many more mods you fit)

Lol... I started training my alt for amarr... can't stand them. 550dps from a Zealot might be nice, but 800+ from a Deimos is better
