PS3 Halo-Killer Killzone 2 To Be Shown At E3 - Page 10

the first Killzone was supposed to be a Halo-killer, but that never happened people are so quick to jump to conclusions these days. maybe they bought that game from Office Space it's been messing with their heads...

I can't believe they have the nerve to call it the PS3 "killer app". It's a sequel of a crappy game that has only been shown in a CGI short film. That hardly constitutes a "killer app". It will be a letdown, guaranteed. I own an Xbox360 and a PS3. One gets played, and one collects dust.

Halo 2 pc was one of the biggest hyped games this year(was originally coming out last summer but held back for Vista) and it's an average game(as shown in ALL reviews), and would have been the same 3 years ago when everyone was addicted to Unreal Tournament 2004, Battlefield 1942 and preparing for DooM 3.....Everyone knows how amazing that was on PCs yet the xbox version was terrible(i owned both)...By console standards they thought it was a good game but compared to the real FPS market, PCs, it was barely average, and the graphics aren't that much worse than some of the newer games, though there are a few that blow everything out of the water....
Also i never compared Halo and Killzone directly, though i said i preferred KZ over halo, it was based on story and not the actual game. I prefer more realistic war type fps' to sci fi themed ones.

KZ's single player was more entertaining and gripping, where as halo was boring and had holes... The main reason Halo got such high ratings was Multiplayer where Killzone didn't have one i believe, maybe i'm mistaken about that, but when it was released all praises where for MP and the SP was dogged for alot of things but people ignored that because the MP made up for it....o them.

Edit: Also the only people saying this and the previous game are "Halo Killers" are the gaming media...NOT the developers/publishers........

You're comparing your statements, this entire argument and the posts from everyone in this thread to millions being Nazis and millions smoking?

If that isn't enough proof for other people to see how downright absurd your argument has become, I don't know what is.

Anyone else even bothering to read this pointless thread now has enough information to see that you argue merely for the sake of arguing. Because nothing productive ever comes out of these "conversations."

Every post you don't directly respond to anything anyone posts. You just type the same thing over and over. You say the game sucks, a bunch of people come in and defend said game then you come back in and say the game sucks.

You prefer Killzone and the PS3 and that's fine. The PS3 is a good platform and will get better with time and more game releases. But you still don't seem to grasp the fact that your opinion doesn't equal fact. And yet I'm sure you'll come back to this thread, even after the discussion has died, and repeat yourself just to try and have the last post in the thread.

Thread over. Enjoy posting by yourself. Arguing = stupid so why do any of us bother? People need to stop getting so heated and just enjoy what we enjoy instead of arguing about it.

The Halo storyline was written by a bunch of people while they were high on something; the plot has more holes than swiss cheese...

Not to mention the fact that the game reuses levels regularly under the guise of having the player complete a new mission, which is very annoying.

With that said, the game is still fun!
