A simple paint project: Pimp Yo PSU. And nothing is mo pimpadelic flavalicious than Candy Apple... First you gotta void a warranty...
and TBH you don't need to bake the paint.

One extra step that I skipped which I would recomend is to strip the casing down to bare metal. Use a chemical stripper CAREFULLY and then use prepsol and lacquer thinner afterward to clean the metal. Then use a good primer. I would say elf etching. And then lay up the coats and let them dry normally. If you need to accelerate the process IR is the way to go with some heatlamps or those cheap halogens from Lowes.
Baking is not required
Getting the case to bare metal assures the best adhesion. The best grip is from self etching . the mor layers of sandable primer you feel like laying down before the top coat the better.
I went super fast and the truth is if you take your time and spend a week at ti you will get much better and loner lasting results than if you rushed it.
