But when it comes to Asia by year end , they won't be able to restrict it to one carrier. Then you guys could probably pick one up and put whatever sim card you want to put in.

Can you type on the iPhone horizontally? I would think that would be a lot easier since they could probably make the buttons much bigger. It doesn't look like using your thumbs when the screen is vertical would be easy to do.

Don't think so, but I don't think reaching over the sides of the iPhone when it is horizontal will be very ergonomic.
