Since preorders say backorder does that mean that if I pay for the preorder I still get G0 or are they done with preorders?

That is the current Q6600 B3 Stepping, that has been out for quite some time. They will continue to sell those till stock runs out. Still a great chip, but we all have high hopes that the G0 will unlock some more overclocking potential.

I noticed ClubIT is down to just having 'Open Box" q6600's. With the 16th around the corner, you rekon they stand a good chance of getting G0 stepping in their next shipment of quads? I hope so anyway.
