you keep posting them as if they were the final verdict. Sure, they're the only benchmarks we have to go on, but two benchmarks that were done on pre-production platforms aren't what I'd call solid info.
And as far as the Xeon goes, I was talking about the price. Are the Xeons on the same level as the desktop conroe parts in terms of price? They're more expensive. Just as Barcelona will be more expensive than the desktop counterparts
Sorry, it doesn't work that way.
Considering the fastest that chip is going to launch at is 2.2Ghz, it is going to have quite a lot of work to do in order to compete with the Xeon 5XXX line that is clocked at 3.33Ghz 1333Mhz FSB.
