I actually looked into that. Any ideas where I could get it?

Only problem I forsee is that this HTPC is going to house a 8800 GTX, and the mATX mobo i'm getting has one PCIe slot and 2 PCI slots, one of which will be blocked by the G80 HS, and the other will be occupied by the RF PCI card for my HTPC remote.

Maybe if someone could recommend me a controller that will automatically adjust fan speeds depending on temp readouts?

get one of those thermalright 8800 coolers, if they fit your HTPC.

So much for a controler card
Actually, it does not use a slot, there are no slot terminals it just uses the slot to mount, everything functions and connects via a USB connection. So if you care to. the card can be mounted anywhere in the case you want provided you can get an external USB connection to it! Or even use the internal/to exteranl USB connection/extention mount it intewrnally and jack in a USB cable to that

Will so much watts per channel increase the output of fans? or does it step down?

It allows you to run more fans per channel. I think the thing actually has 18w per channel with a "max" of around 30w per channel. The knob is nice because it goes from 0-12v unlike a lot of controllers that go from 5-12v.

why would you want to have a fan in your system and have it at 0 volts? I don't like them giving you the option of having a fan at volts that low. Most 12cm fans won't even start spinning until you get to 5v+ anyway.

Is there any automatic fan controllers out there that change speeds depending on temps? But also have the ability to switch over to manual control?
