Sorry, it's not I don't believe you, it's just that I can't update the chart yet

These results are from a back up rig. The Intel mb is from a Gateway as is the 2.6 P4 cpu. So as you know the cpu is not oc'd any. If it were I might would post a little higher 3DMark. The graphics card is a BFG 6800GT OC, oc'd a little more.

I also have an Asus P4S800D-X and a Prescott 3.0 I could use as well as the hardware from my sig rig but I'm too lazy to bother right now. This was my first and only run so far on this rig. I'll run a few more times and if the results are much better I'll edit if not I want bother.

Not too shabby , http://service.futuremark.com/orb/re...0&UID=10100655
How the heck are you getting that high of a score??? I have an oc'd cpu and oc'd gpu, and I still can't get beyond 6100.

How dare you cut down my P4 Grunion I suppose that my 3.0E is the only other than C2D to beat out the AMD systems w/AGP!

You and I have almost the same sig rigs I'm curious to see my scores when I get it back together. MSI and XFX out for rma. I also have a P4 3.0 that I ought to slap in and try out as well. You have a nice oc there too with yours considering your ram, very good in fact. I almost bought a X1950 too instead of my 7950GT. How have you liked your MSI mb? I've had problems with my agp slot going bad. I hope it's right this time :***: I hope with my setup I can get a solid 4.0 oc I'll see how close I can get to your score. You know though, it's a little unfair ranking C2D rigs with agp against us single cores
post #139 of 478
I bumped up my BFG6800GT clocks a bit to 418 MHz core and 1.14 GHz mem. This is what I got this time.

Not enough for #7 spot though. Maybe I'll install this BFG on my Asus mb so I can overclock the cpu. Heck, if I do that might as well use my 3.4 Pressy and G.Skill HZ ram too.

So let me ask this then. How many setups can we enter here? Can we swap around hardware or do they have to be a whole new mobo?

I love this MSI board, it's been my backbone for about 2 years now. Aftermarket HSF on NB and SB chipsets to keep temps at acceptable levels. One thing I really like is the automatic RAM divider. I've had zero issues with this board and it has been put through the ringer, on more than one OCing session. I have had the FSB all the way to 275, which ain't too shabby on an Intel 865 Chipset. With Value Ram installed I can get to 4.2 although it's not Orthos stable for any length of time. The recent addition of the X1950Pro was the absolute last upgrade I will do before heading to C2D, and I believe I'll try that ASRock 4-CoreDual board and keep the AGP card for awhile. Gonna jump up to DDR2 at that time as well. I did consider RMAing my card for that 7950 that you have, after my first cards caps starting squealing, but couldn't seem to come up with the addition cash for it. I really would like to see what sort of difference the cards have in benchin. I know that I can still run my games (BF2, BF2142, DiRT(Medium), FEAR, and Real Flight G3.5) on High with AA at full and enjoy framerates ranging from 50-75 avg. so all-in-all, I'm still quite satisfied with it's performance.
