Haven't you gotten in the high 19k? Try for 3.8Ghz of the cpu and maybe push the video card higher if its stable. Put a 120MM fan facing it for extra cooling And leave your monitor off while benchmarking. You should be able to get 20K.

Pair 7950GT to a C2d and you can get 20K 03'.

Dang, someone beat me. Give me a few days to get my better ram and such, and then i'll clock my e4300 to 2.7 GHz. I'll regain the lead.

I'm at 19182. This is the highest score I've gotten so far. This was at 3739 oc. I can run a little higher but my score is lower. My gpu is also clocked as high as I can go stable 645/1.33 but If I leave off my side panel and put a fan on it I might be able to get a little more.

I'd bet on it...that you're right.

As close as you are you could probably just run a few times with some tweaks and beat me.

But turn your monitor off, it should give you about 400 points extra

Either that, or one of those beastly X1950XT AGP's (with better cooling than that ridiculous TEC cooler)

I'm too lazy to update the list yet Right now I'm trying to beat the world record on 3DMark03 for a Radeon 9700. The record is 73xx while I have 7233 right now

Shame my 9700 is such a poor overclocker

On the bright side, I took the world record for Aquamark 3 with my 9700

There are many subtle tricks for gaining a little extra points here and there. Also you can try unplugging your keyboard and all accessories and monitor. That should give 100+ points too.

Better. Thanks Wheezy Baby for the advice. +reps 4u!

This is most likely the best score I'll be able to get with my setup. I'll need a higher oc on cpu and gpu to post a better score. This will require better cooling than what I currently have now. I have a Zalman FC-ZV9 Fatal1ty on a 6800GT but it will not fit on my 7950 unless I custom make a bracket. If I can make it fit that will help out a bit.

Ok, unplug your keyboard now. Set your performance settings for windows themes and such to max performance (sets to win 98 theme/no effects) and right as soon as you start 3dmark (right when you click it to start) - unplug your screen and your mouse. This should give you another few hundred points. I am almost sure you can get 20k at that.
