Dell Introduces New 19-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor - Page 3

Dell is one of the only places I'd buy a monitor...and I hate Dell...lol.

Their monitors are amazing, and their customer service on them is even better.
I had one dead pixel...sent me a new one...then I didn't like the backlight...sent me a third one...I had three displays at once..lol. I didn't send any back until 2 weeks later, and it was on their tab.
When I upgrade to bigger than 20", I'll definitely be getting another Dell. (unless it's an ACD)

Dell is a great company with great monitors. They hold there value and they perform second to none. I sold my Dell 19" for a 22" Westinghouse and the picture quality differences are staggering. I am selling this Westy and getting the 22" Dell asap.

I'm going to get a 22" BenQ or 24" Dell 2407WFP, depending on how much money I get/earn.

Have you completely ignored everything actual Dell owners have said in this thread up until this point? Their service is hardly what I would call bad. Have you ever tried getting a bad display replaced by Samsung? I have, and it wasn't fun... trust me.

Does it have an unconditional dead pixel guarantee? I doubt it.

I really can't tell whether your post is flaming, or you have some type of a factual basis to make your comments upon.

Dell monitors are impressive, and if you don't know that, then you clearly have never owned or seen one. I have a $300 20" dell widescreen sitting right next to a $700 20" Apple cinema at work on my desk, and the dell looks just as good if not considerably better.

-I bought a Samsung 205BW and it was absolute crap. Backlight bleed like crazy, washed out colors. Took it back and the second had two dead pixels and even worse backlight bleed. It cost EXACTLY THE SAME as the Dell 2007 BTW for those of you complaining about price.

-Also bought a 915N for work, also crap... backlight bleed.

-Just got a 740N two days ago for another project at work, crap. Backlight bleed.

We have over ten dell monitors at work, as well as a scattering of other brands, and the Dells are the ONLY monitors with any type of uniformity in quality that I've ever seen. My boss has two 23" Apple cinemas at his main desk, and within weeks of receiving them, he got a red line down one, and the other started to turn yellow. He now is on his third set.

The 19" dells however, that were bundled with total crap computers BTW, still are immaculate. I hate Dell's computers, and I don't really care for them as a company either, but their displays are nothing short of godlike.

I may consider this new 19" dell for my room since I use a wall mount.

Alright...Dell makes good monitors. Bad computers. Are we seeing the correlation here? Don't be hating the monitors just cause their computers suck something big.
'bout time.

<3 my $200 22" 1080p Sceptre.

The only time Dell gets business from me is when I refer stupid people who don't need very good computers to them. Saves me time on fixing how their icons are lined up or what their drives are named (yes i've actually been asked to do that)
