What motherboard are you using the GA-945P-S3 or the GA-965P-S3?

The 945P's are not good overclockers.. The 965P's usually are very good with 4300's..

I might be able to help. But I don't know anything about Vista and if it can hinder an overclock..

Read this thread too.. Go to post #1 and read about overclocking E4300's.. It may help..

You can thank me by sending some pics of Ireland (with your own camera ). I've always wanted to go there but it's so expensive and I don't like beer.

As for overclocking the GTS, use Riva Tuner, it seems like if it's the most popular software to OC the G80s.

And the E4300 can probably hit 3.0ghz but not sure if you are using the stock cooler but if you do, don't expect to reach a high OC. Tuniq Tower 120 is the key for low temps and high OC.

because i was getting the 88, and wanted to try the first dx10 patch for COH. i ended up only running in medium settings...on the GTS!!!!
i am a believer now, if u have a computer that's up for it (which most ppl here do) the vista is faster than xp...

well its rev 3.3 which is 965p chipset.right?read ur article. dont fully undertsnad ratios. and i dont know why i am not OCing well, i just put on Antec aftermarket cooler...looks dissapointing though..like a stock intel cooler with blue led's.
