depends on the installer... and if you talk to them... you are more likely to get quality work...
only need one line coming into the house...dont need grommets or wire clips for that...just use caulk to seal the hole

as for securing the wire inside...use the insulated staples

Hey KD, if you need an ethernet wire run....PM me, I have been an electrician for 13 years and work in canton.

I could cruise on over and fish a line for ya...matter fact I have cat5e in bulk AND ends so it wouldnt cost anything

i'm imagining a nightmare for K-mart special rg-59 and a horde of cascaded 2-way spilliters...

my cable comes in, terminates at a ground block in the d-marc... goes though a 3.5dB tap to the modem... and the .5dB loss port from the tap goes to a 15dB digital amp... where it is then pumped into a high quality 8-way... with 1 terminated port with a resistor... and 7 rg-6q lines going out from there to everywhere you could want a TV...

and then there's the sat system... and the two dishes... and the signal multiplexer... and the station injectors... etc etc etc...

cable installers alway freak out when they see RG-11 patch cables...
