If it is 1, does the typical DDR2 6400 still work?

Get the P35 board. And yes, DDR2 800 will work on both of them.

Both of them are good overclockers, a lot of budget people get the second choice, but if you get the first choice, the chipsets are better for the quads, as it seems. So I guess it would be a wiser choice to choose the first one. Good for a few years, I may say.

If I get the first one, then CPU is E4300 or E6420? or wait the E6600 price drops a bit?
