Don't bother comparing temps on here, it's useless

Trying to compare how hot 2 different CPUs (say E6600 VS E6320) run on here is pretty much useless. There's just TOO many variances.

For example, my E6600 VS whatever your CPU is

- One of us could have a heatsink that's less flat then the other
- One of us could do a crappy job mounting it, which will result in higher temps (And believe me, I did a terrible job the first time, and it was running at 60c idle!)
- Ambient temps are different
- How well air flows through our cases are different. (and this will make a HUGE difference)

The ONLY valid way to get any kind of temperature comparison is to have the same person test the CPUs, with the same heat sink, same thermal compound, same case, same everything. And the person needs to be good at mounting the heatsink so that they can consistently get a good mount.
