it's an endless loop that runs over itself at times, but is very funny to watch. I work with the goverment and we get the updates/patches before the normal public does so we can start testing compatibility with our systems and i couldn't count the number of times we've recieved a dozen different versions of the same patch, before they release the public fix.

Yea that is called testing, you don't just throw a patch together and release it to the public. That is why vista was delayed for over a year, because it wasn't stable. You can complain sit there and diss Microsoft all you want but they have made a pretty large leap in the OS world with Vista.
